This Privacy Policy explains how Calene Atelier collects and uses personal information through calene-atelier.com. Calene Atelier is a trade-only platform serving interior designers, architects, developers, retailers and approved industry professionals. Information we collect

Trade account applications. When you apply for trade access, we collect the information you provide in the application: your name, company, business address, phone number and email address; your business type and professional role(s); project types and estimated annual volume; and, if provided, your website, social media and business documents such as a resale certificate or business license. When you accept the trade agreement, we record your printed name, signature, the date, and the IP address used to submit it, as evidence of acceptance.

Accounts and orders. For approved accounts, we keep your account details, billing and delivery details, and your order history.

Payments. Card payments are processed by Clover. Card details are entered into Clover’s secure payment form and are not stored on our website. We keep only the card brand and last four digits with the order record, together with the payment reference returned by Clover.

Enquiries. If you send a product inquiry or use our contact form, we receive the information you include, such as your name, email address and message.

Technical information. Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your cart and checkout. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address and browser type in server logs.

How we use your information

  • to review trade applications and verify eligibility for trade access;
  • to provide trade pricing, process orders and payments, and arrange production and delivery;
  • to communicate with you about your application, account and orders;
  • to keep business, tax and resale-certificate records; and
  • to protect our website and our trade information against misuse.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run our business and fulfil your orders, with:

  • our website hosting provider;
  • our email provider (Google Workspace), which sends and receives our emails;
  • our payment processor (Clover), which processes card payments;
  • delivery and logistics providers that coordinate shipping and white-glove delivery of your order; and
  • authorities, where we are required to by law.

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts and some scripts from the jsDelivr content network. These services receive your IP address when they deliver that content to your browser. Our product pages include links for sharing on social networks; the network only receives information if you choose to click a link. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking on this website.

How we protect and keep it

Documents uploaded with a trade application are stored privately and are available only to authorised Calene Atelier administrators. We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, including account, order, tax and legal record-keeping.
