Due to the custom production nature of our collections:

orders may not be canceled once production has begun
products are final sale
slight variations in materials, finishes, dimensions, and natural characteristics may occur
production timelines are estimates and may vary depending on manufacturing schedules and material availability

Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all specifications prior to order confirmation.

Sales Tax & Resale Certificates

Calene Atelier operates as a trade-only platform serving qualified design professionals and resellers.

To qualify for tax-exempt purchasing, approved trade members must provide a valid resale certificate or other applicable tax exemption documentation prior to placing orders.

Orders placed without valid resale documentation may be subject to applicable sales tax.

Trade members are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations related to resale purchases.

Calene Atelier reserves the right to request updated resale documentation at any time.

Confidential Trade Information

All trade pricing, catalogs, sourcing information, and vendor-related materials are confidential and intended solely for approved account holders.

Sharing confidential pricing or sourcing information with third parties is prohibited without written consent from Calene Atelier.

Product Information

Many products offered through Calene Atelier are handcrafted.

Variations in:

wood grain
marble and stone movement
fabric texture
leather markings
color tone
artisanal finishes
dimensions

are considered natural characteristics and are not considered defects.

All dimensions, specifications, finishes, and product details should be verified prior to purchase.

Orders & Production

Orders enter production upon:

Pricing

Shipping & Delivery

Clients are responsible for verifying:

dimensions
building access
stair/elevator clearance
site readiness
installation conditions

prior to delivery.

Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

White glove and freight services are coordinated through third-party logistics providers. Calene Atelier is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, weather conditions, or events beyond our control.

Inspection & Damage Claims

All shipments must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

Any visible damage, missing items, or packaging concerns must:

be noted on the delivery receipt
photographed
reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery

Failure to report damages within the required timeframe may affect claim eligibility.

Original packaging materials must be retained until claims are resolved.

Returns & Claims

All products are made-to-order and final sale.

Returns are not accepted for:

customized products
made-to-order items
approved material selections
international special orders

Natural material variations, minor artisanal inconsistencies, and normal wear are not considered defects.

Samples & Material Representation

Material and finish samples are intended as general representations only.
